Facebook's Handmade Gift Status for 2011

In January this year on facebook there was a status going around, saying that if you commented on the status that lovely person would send you something Handmade :-) Then in return I copied the status into page and then so on.....

So a lovely friend of mine Juanita commented saying she would love something Handmade - So as you can see it has taken me 9 months to make it but i am so happy with how it turned out and i hope that my friend loves it :-)

I made very simple christmas bunting, as you can see from the photo :-) Just Red and Green Material, Cream Bias Binding and for the lettering i just used a Fabric Pen and some Letter Stencils i had in my Scrapbooking stuff!! At both ends of the wording there is more plain red/green bunting flags.

De Clutter the Bathroom cupboards! This was a great job for me - as you can see in the photos!!

"Move fast - Don't overthink. Let it go." This is the Mantra of the whole Organize-Athon !!!

Well i feel fabulous and it was all thanks to a very small task - Organising My Kitchen Utensils!!!

It was very cleansing to empty out my 2 drawers and sort it all! I did however realise that i do 'acutally use' alot of utensils :-)

Can't wait to do Day 4!

Day 2 - Organize-athon

Today's task was to clear out the hanging space in the wardrobe! For me this took alot more than 5 mins.......

But that's ok, as you can see by the photos my wardrobe really needed the attention.

Even if it was Mother's day i am really glad i spared the time to do it. (Also helped by putting a movie on the Bedroom TV and watching it as i went along sorting) (Also some dancing, i was watching Striptease) :-)

Before The Day 2 Organize-athon

Day 1 - Organize-athon

I am committed to the Michelle Connolly 30-Day Organize-athon!!!

Day 1

Spend 5 minutes de-cluttering, dusting off photo frames and wipeing of the coffee table in the living area!

So i put on my Katy Perry CD, turned it up loud and had a clean up with a garbage bag in hand and went over my living area!

Feels fantastic, So i thought i would blog my 30 days. I am so amazed how 4 songs worth of being in 1 room cleaning felt.

So easy, i need to do it more often :-)

Can't wait to read Day 2's challenge!

My crafty planning begins....

So invitations are out, this party is happening :-) Bella is very excited about her cooking party celebrating her 7th birthday!

For the table they will eat at, i am making it very pretty :-) I have sewed up a table runner in the above purple material and purchased the other matching items!

Below is the water bottles that i covered with a pretty label! This is such a simple but effective thing to do for a party!

The next task is to sew up the aprons and work out the recipe instructions :-) I am having lots of fun planning for this party!

So out go the invitations......

Only 3 weeks till Bella's 7th Birthday Party. Ryan and Bella have to take turns on party years so this is her turn to have a party.

It's decided that this year will be a cooking party for her & 7 friends :-) (i have some lovely mummy helpers coming along too)

The inspiration for this party is coming from a lovely book by Annabel Karmel - Mummy & Me Cookbook.

Above is the photo of the cute invitations on wooden spooons. I created the cupcake shape and printed them on pretty papers. I am looking forward to hearing how Bella's friends liked the invitations. Bella is so excited about giving them out today to her friends :-)

I will blog more about the decorations and party food and games :-)
